2 area lakes, Lake Waco and Lake Belton, lure fishing, boating and swimming enthusiasts. Both have camping/RV sites, picnic and recreational facilities.

Golf courses challenge and entertain every level of play, from professional to amateur golf enthusiasts. The closest to McGregor is Bear Ridge Golf Course, an 18-hole daily fee course on 205 acres along the meanders of the Middle Bosque River just minutes out Hwy. 84 from McGregor.

McGregor Motors R.V. Camp Ground is a complete hook-up with lots of trees and large patios. Great place to park your R.V. while visiting McGregor. Located on East HWY 84. 254-840-4512.

Mother Neff State Park, the first ever founded in Texas, is just six miles from McGregor, beckoning family reunions and large get-togethers into its spacious pavilion under the ancient riverside trees.
