KIDS' AREA INSTRUCTIONS

RULES
All rides and items sold are subject to approval by the Founders' Day Committee.

Vendor is responsible for set-up, tables and displays. Tents are available by advanced request for $35.

Vendor is responsible for all applicable licenses, fees and taxes required for merchandise. State sales taxes must be paid to the state comptroller. The tax rate in McGregor is 8.25%.

Vendor is responsible for keeping his/her area neat and clean. All trash and debris is to be cleaned up by the vendor during the day and after breakdown. Trash receptacles will be located throughout the festival grounds.

You must describe your activity and/or list everything you intend to sell. This helps with our advertising, as well as keeping us from overbooking a particular item.

A local organization sells light sticks during the dance as part of their annual fundraising endeavors. We ask that you wait until they are sold out if you wish to sell these items. Also, marshmallow guns, silly string and stink bombs are prohibited from being sold by any vendor or organization.

If you require electricity, you must check the appropriate area on your application. You will need to provide your own heavy-duty extension and power cords. They must be taped down with heavy-duty duct tape. All hookups should be GFI compatible. All breakers are 20 amp. Due to festival expansions, electricity will be available on a limited basis- first-come first-served, so mail your application today! We will not have electricity for non-approved vendors on the day of the festival. Please note fees for electricity on the application sheet.

HOURS OF OPERATION
Show Hours: Saturday, September 20, 2008; 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. (unless you are a designated vendor for the dance).

Set-up Times: Friday, September 19 from 7:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.; Saturday, September 20from 6:30 a.m.- 9:00 a.m.

Unloading: Vehicles may be parked as close to your space as possible beginning at 6:30 a.m. for Saturday set up. They must be removed by 8:30 a.m. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

There are no refunds! If you are unable to attend the show for any reason, or if you do not check in and claim your space by 8:00 a.m., all fees shall be forfeited.
